In this exciting course, you will learn Jonathan's approach to sculpting an animation character bust. You'll practice the same techniques he used to create characters for such films as Pixar's The Incredibles and Blue Sky Studios Ice Age. In this particular session Jonathan will be demonstrating his approach to sculpting a zombie/monster as befits the season.
This course is perfect for both new students and those wanting to develop their skills.
You will understand the elements of character design and how to:
Plan and design an armature
Blocking in a sculpture
Posing and adding expression
Detailing and finishing your piece
Develop your character sculpting skills this autumn with Jonathan Paine, experienced animation sculptor and instructor.
Class size is extremely limited to 7-10 students
Terms: The course fee covers your clay, wire and armature, and wooden base. The fee also includes a refundable $75 deposit for tools, which when returned to Jonathan at the end of the course in good condition, will be reimbursed.
Refunds: Notice of cancellation must be sent to jonathan@claypixelstudios.com. Clay Pixel Workshops will refund course fees for cancellations as follows:
90% if cancelled 28 days or more before 1st day of class
40% if cancelled 27- 14 days before class 1st day of class
0% if cancelled 13 days or less before 1st day of class.
Please allow 3 weeks for refunds to be processed.
Clay Pixel Studios reserves the right to change these terms at anytime.
