ONE MAN BAND

One of the many great things about working at Pixar is when you are between films you often get the chance to spend time in the Shorts Department. I really loved working in Shorts because it had a unique opportunity to work under tighter deadlines and as such it had a little more of a fly by the seat of your pants vibe. On One Man Band I had the privilege of working with 2 great directors, Mark Andrews and Andrew Jiminez. I was tasked with creating the head shapes for the three characters. I also loved working with Jason Deamer, an awesome Character Designer. Jason's drawings are a real pleasure to work with because his style translates so well to 3D when I was modeling. His brilliant design work makes it so much easier to flesh out the three dimensional forms. A really great guy to work with if you're a modeler!
